From November 6th to 7th, the 2024 China Non-Metallic Minerals Industry Conference was successfully convened in Maoming, Guangdong Province. The "2024 Non-Metallic Minerals Science and Technology Award" presentation ceremony was held during the conference. The "Notice of the Winning Projects of the 2024 Non-Metallic Minerals Science and Technology Award" was announced at the meeting, and a total of 54 non-metallic minerals science and technology awards were presented in the categories of basic research, technological invention, technological progress, scientific and technological public welfare, and youth scientific and technological innovation.

The project "Research and Application Development of Key Technologies for Isotropic Graphite Based on Microcrystalline Graphite" completed by Professor Shen Ke from Hunan University won the first prize in the technological invention category of the 2024 Non-Metallic Minerals Science and Technology Award. Professor Shen Ke was the first person to complete the project, and the co-completing units were Tsinghua University, Hunan University, Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School, and Yong'an Dingfeng Carbon Technology Co., Ltd.
